You know these talks matter. Finding the words is the hard part.

Nobody showed you how

Most of us never had a good version of this talk ourselves, so there is no script to follow.

The questions come out of nowhere

In the car, at bedtime, after a show. You want to answer well, not freeze or change the subject.

Generic advice misses your family

Your child’s age, your values and your faith all change what you want to say and how.

How it works

3

Rehearse out loud

Practice with a stand-in for your child who asks real questions for their age, then get gentle coaching.

Help with every reply

Some talks go better by text

Meet them where they’re comfortable. Kitchen Table helps you reply by text or voice message, so you have time to find a good answer, and you can both skip some of the face-to-face awkwardness.

Part 2 · For your child

Kid’s Library

Your answers, not the internet’s.

Kids are going to look things up. Give them a private place where every answer is right for their age, matches your family’s values, and was approved by you, with a one-tap way to ask you for more.

How it works

  1. 1Choose who they can ask: Mom, Dad, Grandma, whoever you add.
  2. 2We write answers for their age, in your family’s voice.
  3. 3You read and edit every answer before they see it.
  4. 4Send them their own private, code-locked page.
  5. 5They read anytime, and tap Ask to text you a question.
You review and approve every answer first

Private by design

What your child reads stays theirs, even if a sibling grabs the phone

Kids won’t ask what they’re worried someone will see. So your child’s page locks with a code only they know, and hides in a tap.

Their own code

The first time they open it, your child creates a 4-digit code and confirms it. It’s theirs, not yours.

Locks every time

The code is needed every time the page opens, and again after a minute away. Quick switches to text you don’t relock it.

Stops guessing

After 5 wrong tries, the keypad pauses for 30 seconds, so a curious sibling can’t just keep trying.

Forgot it? Ask you

“Forgot your code?” tells them to ask you, by the names you choose, for a 6-digit reset code only you have.

One-tap Hide

A Hide button swaps the page for a plain to-do list. Leaving the list goes to the lock screen, never back into the library.

Blurs in the app switcher

When your child switches apps, the page blurs, so the phone’s preview of open apps doesn’t show what they were reading.

Which talk worries you most?

Questions parents ask

Does an AI talk to my child?

No. The coaching is for you. Your child only sees the answers you approve, and any questions they have come to you as a normal text.

Can a sibling or friend see what my child is reading?

Not without your child’s code. Their page locks every time it opens and after a minute away, pauses after 5 wrong guesses, and hides in one tap. It’s built to keep out someone who picks up the phone. Questions your child sends you go as regular texts, so the phone’s own lock screen protects those.

What ages is it for?

Kids 4 to 17. Each child gets their own plans and page, matched to their age, so siblings can be at different stages.

How does pricing work?

Kitchen Table is $49.99 for your first year, with everything included for every child in your family. After that, it renews automatically at $19.99 a year. We’ll email you before every renewal, and you can cancel or pause anytime online.

What happens if I don’t renew?

Everything you’ve already made keeps working, including your saved plans and your child’s page. Renewing keeps the AI features going: new talk plans, rehearsal, reply suggestions, milestone reminders and updates to your child’s library.

Can I pause instead of canceling?

Yes. You can pause for 3 or 6 months, and you won’t be charged while paused. We’ll remind you before your membership resumes.

What’s your refund policy?

If Kitchen Table isn’t right for you, we’ll give you a full refund within 7 days of purchase, as long as you’ve created no more than one talk plan.

Can it reflect our faith and values?

Yes. You choose secular, faith-informed or a mix, and name your tradition. That shapes framing and emphasis while the facts stay accurate.

Is this medical advice?

No. Kitchen Table helps you prepare and talk. For medical questions, talk with your child’s pediatrician.

When does it launch?
